Jury ConsultantBrandon

Brandon is a jury consultant in our Oakland office and brings with him more than 8 years of qualitative and quantitative research experience. With a PhD in psychology, Brandon is well-versed in focus group, survey, and experimental designs. He is a passionate observer of human behavior and uses his years of academic research experience to transform complex findings into meaningful recommendations.

Before joining The Focal Point, Brandon was a teacher and researcher at both the University of Michigan and Mills College. His primary research focus involved the experiences of minority groups and how individuals in these groups mitigated the stress of social marginalization. He has also conducted research in the areas of mindfulness practice, health, and organizational psychology.

A native of Southern California, Brandon was somehow able to survive five winters at the University of Michigan to earn a PhD in Personality and Social Context Psychology. In his spare time, he trains as a competitive rower, goes for hikes in the Oakland hills, and experiments with new recipes.
